Meet Grainery Lane Ballarat — where historic charm meets contemporary craft.

Named after the historic lane that once bustled with grain trade, Grainery Lane Distillery is housed in a beautifully restored warehouse and produces spirits made from local grain, herbs, berries, and botanicals. But it's so much more than a distillery.

Step into a saloon-style bar that channels the glitz and glamour of Ballarat's goldrush era—think Peaky Blinders meets The Great Gatsby. An original bar spans an entire wall, backdropped by sparkling chandeliers and 1880s-inspired furniture. And if you're in the know, there's a secret speakeasy hidden behind a wall at the back—a strict invite-only prohibition-era bar that's pure magic.

Proudly recognised as Ballarat's best restaurant, Grainery Lane serves the city's finest cocktails and wine list alongside an extensive menu featuring gluten-friendly, vegan, and vegetarian options. From old-fashioned classics to innovative signature creations, every experience is thoughtfully crafted.

Discover Grainery Lane at the Winter Edit on 30 May at The Ballarat Mining Exchange.

Meet Swede Little Things & Swedish Tea Blends — where Nordic heritage meets contemporary craft.

Born in Stockholm and now based in Melbourne, this maker brings authentic Sami leathercraft to life. Inspired by her mum's roots in GƤllivare, Northern Sweden, she handcrafts traditional Sami and contemporary Scandinavian jewellery using soft, beautifully coloured reindeer leather paired with silver and pewter details.

Each piece celebrates the leather itself—from bold statement bracelets to delicate custom designs. And to complete the Nordic experience, she curates a collection of Swedish tea blends: Nordic Forest, Stockholm South, Midsummer, and more. Each blend tells a story of Scandinavian flavours and traditions.

What makes it special? She loves collaborating with clients to create unique, personalised pieces that are perfect for them. Handmade in Australia with a distinctly Nordic soul.

Discover Swede Little Things at the Winter Edit on 30 May at The Ballarat Mining Exchange.
