A fragrance built from spices and resins common to the region, (AETHIOPIA) with a heavy dose of myrrh that gives it a metallic, almost bloodlike edge cutting through the heaviness. It isn’t meant to resolve or behave neatly, and that curiosity is part of the intrigue which is EXACTLY why it is a favourite at Sweet Fern!

This Dark Tales fragrance takes us to late 19th century church where a young bride stands before a nuch older man she doesn't know, and has barely even seen. Her face is hidden behind her Veil and her nervous lace gloved hands hold her softly scented bouquet.

Tender violets unfolds into blooming lilacs and powdery florals. A delicate trace of incense lightly drifts through this fragrance but never overtakes the romantic and tender framework of this fragrance.

Purple Veil is not a tragic fragrance, but rather a romantic, soft and a hopeful fragrance - that love will grow 💜
