Steve's Mowers & Outdoor Power Equipment Steve has been in the Outdoor Power Equipment for 44 years. Enjoyed roles such as Service Manager for Tanaka, Grasshopper and Oleo Mac.

Having also worked for Briggs & Stratton he furthered his knowledge base. Steve prides himself on quality repairs and backs his work with warranty of parts and labour. Having lost his shop in River Street Ballina after the floods it is great to see him back and more determined to provide customer service with a fully equipped workshop. Though in house workshop is standard he can also provide Onsite Service when Pre Booked. Let's face it, we pull out the mower with no second thought about it.
We just want to mow that lawn that just won't stop growing.
Servicing your mower is not just about ensuring long life of engine and chassis but more importantly it's safety.
Here is an example of a recent repair and I found these blades barely hanging on. At 3,600 RPM you need these flying off potentially injuring someone as you need a hole in the head.
We never think about our mower as its always there, much like my wife.
However without care and attention both will fail at some point.

Be it push mowers, self propelled mowers, ride on or zero turns i cover them all. Even this little beauty, RC controlled, bit of wiring repairs, engine repairs and away we go.
I do feel if every Dad or Mum had one of these, asking your kids to mow the lawn would be met with an absolute yes.

Hello everyone,
An overlooked at times and an expensive mistake can lead to damage to a two stroke engine as you can see here.
Two strokes rely on correct oil mix in the fuel allowing lubrication of all moving parts.
Here the engine has been run on straight fuel, no oil at all causing significant damage to bearings, piston, piston rings and of course the cylinder.
Be sure to follow manufacturers recommendation of fuel mix be it 30:1, 40:1 or 50:1 ratio.
