OK… THIS IS WHERE I ASK FOR YOUR HELP!
Voting for the Stars of Ballina People’s Choice Award is officially OPEN and yes, I’d absolutely LOVE your vote!
I’ve stepped way outside my comfort zone to do this, and while dancing in front of a crowd is definitely not something I ever thought I’d be doing, I’m doing it for a cause that means so much to our community Cancer Council.
So if you’ve ever supported me, shopped at Hartley’s, had a laugh with me, followed along with my crazy life, or simply think I deserve a vote… this is your chance!
📱 TEXT “JOELINE” TO 0437 371 371
Your text counts as a vote AND a donation to Cancer Council. 🙏
And I’m not going to lie… I WANT TO WIN THIS! 😂🏆
So please, take 10 seconds, send the text and help me get as many votes as possible.
Then SHARE this post and tag your friends, family, workmates and anyone else you can think of who might throw me a vote!
TEAM JOELINE — LET’S DO THIS!
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!

We were incredibly saddened to hear of the tragic plane crash involving the Barambah Organics family.
Hartley’s fell in love with Barambah Organics products and have been proud supporters of this wonderful Australian business.
Our deepest thoughts are with the families, friends and work colleagues who are facing such an unimaginable loss.
Thinking of the entire Barambah Organics community at this incredibly difficult time.

POV You’re doing Dancing with the Stars for Cancer Council but you own a fruit shop 😂
So naturally rehearsals happen between the Melons and cucumbers.
I can’t promise I’ll win the dance floor
but I can guarantee the B-roll is going to be bloody entertaining.

A huge and heartfelt thank you to Aussies4Aussies for your incredibly generous $2,000 donation towards my Stars of Ballina fundraising.

I was honestly blown away by your support and by the beautiful words you left with your donation.

Aussies4Aussies does so much to support people and organisations in our community, so to have you get behind me and my fundraising for Cancer Council means more than I can say.

Every dollar helps us get closer to making a real difference for people and families impacted by cancer, and your very generous contribution has given my fundraising a massive boost.

Thank you for believing in me, supporting this cause and, as you said, helping me “go for gold!”

I am incredibly grateful.

Thank you Aussies 4 Aussies !

I'm raising money for a cause close to my heart and would love your support.

Sneak Peek, please be kind! 😂

Well, the secret is out! Here's a little behind the scenes look at me learning to dance for Stars of Ballina in support of the Cancer Council.

Anyone who knows me knows I have two left feet, so this has definitely pushed me well outside my comfort zone! But every awkward step is worth it if it helps raise money for such an important cause.

My fundraising goal is $5,000, and I can't get there without the support of this amazing community.

So here's my deal! I'll keep sharing little sneak peeks of rehearsals each week, and the closer we get to my goal, the more behind the scenes moments (and probably more embarrassing dance moves! 😅) I'll share.

If you'd like to support me, you can donate here: https://stars.cancercouncil.com.au/fundraisers/joelinehartley

Every dollar, no matter how big or small, will help make a real difference for people affected by cancer. ❤️

Thank you for cheering me on, believing in me, and supporting such an important cause. Let's see if our amazing community can help me smash that $5,000 goal!

Thanks guys
Joeline

As business owners this is a good opportunity for us to take a look at what’s being proposed and have some input into the future direction of Ballina.
A lot of the time we only become aware of changes once they’ve already happened whether it’s fees, planning decisions or policies that affect the way we operate. This exhibition period gives businesses the chance to understand what’s being discussed before decisions are finalised.
These plans will help shape the future of our business community and the wider region, so it’s worth taking the time to read through the parts relevant to your business and provide feedback if something stands out to you.
The more businesses involved in the conversation early, the better outcomes we can create for our community.

Happy Heavenly Birthday to my youngest, Isaac 🤍

22 years ago, you came into this world your way…
and 4.5 years ago, you left this world your way.

Being a mother is both a gift and a curse
we love so deeply, and we hurt just as deeply.
Not a day goes by that you’re not with me.
Forever my boy.
Lots of Love Mum X

🥑 LOCAL FUERTE AVOCADOS 🥑

We’ve got something a little special in store right now…

Beautiful local Fuerte avos — AND their naturally grown “cocktail avos”.

These mini avos aren’t a different variety and nothing’s been done to them, they just grow that way naturally on the tree.

No seed, All avo.

Perfect for lunchboxes, platters or just grabbing and eating on the go.

Pop in and check them out they won’t last long 💚
