Silver Sword Kokedama $60

The Silver Sword comes from the humid forests of South America, so they thrive in a warm and well lit position with bright indirect light. Keep them away from drafts and heating/cooling units as they won’t like cold drafts and sudden temperature fluctuations. This plant also likes fairly moist soil. I recommend to soak this plant in 2 cups of water every 1.5 weeks.

You’re all probably wondering what a Kokedama Ball is. ‘Kokedama is Japanese for moss ball’. It is a style of potting up plants and displaying then either on a dish or hung up. A kokedama Ball is a plant wrapped in soil, then spagnum moss, then finished with specially wrapped twine. It being made this way allows the soil to stay moist for a longer period of time, meaning less watering. A kokedama ball can last up to 3 years! Isn’t that amazing! Here are some that I have done previously 😃

Hi everyone, my name is Bella and this is my business, Bonnie & Boo. I decided to go down the small business path when I had my daughter, Bonnie, because I wanted to have more time to spend with her without having the responsibility of returning to my regular workplace. Since embarking on this business venture, I have created a beautiful range of Desert Terrariums and Kokedama Balls, with the intention to eventually expand my range. I do not have a green thumb, however I do have a passion for plants and I am hoping I can continue to create more beautiful plants for you all to love and enjoy x
