One of the most overlooked foundations of health?
💧 Hydration

And I don’t just mean “drink more water.”

Real hydration is:
✨ drinking enough fluids
✨ improving water quality
✨ ensuring your body actually absorbs and uses that water properly

Because hydration impacts:
• digestion
• energy
• detoxification
• elimination
• brain function
• every single cell in the body 🤍

Some simple things I focus on:
→ water before coffee in the morning
→ drinking consistently throughout the day
→ filtering my water
→ adding minerals/electrolytes for proper hydration

And one of the biggest things people miss:
If you’re drinking lots of water but constantly peeing crystal clear… you still may not be properly hydrated.

Minerals like sodium, potassium and magnesium help move water INTO the cells where your body actually needs it ⚡️

WINTER IMMUNE TONIC 🤧🍇

Chatting to one of my friends the other day and she reminded me about elderberry herbal tonic — something Ive made before but forgot about. Its so simple and you can keep in the fridge to use daily during winter

Elderberry has traditionally been used to support the immune system and is rich in antioxidants and vit c, while ginger helps warm the body and support circulation. Echinacea is well known for immune support and juniper can also support the body during winter illness.

I love making a big batch and using it as a warm drink with lemon + honey or taking a small immune shot straight from the fridge each morning.

RECIPE
✨ 3 heaped tbsp Elderberry Elixir Blend (available in store and online)
✨ 2L filtered water

Add to a pot and simmer gently for 30 minutes.
Turn off the heat and allow to steep overnight.
Strain and store in a glass jar in the fridge.

Use as:
• a warm herbal drink
• a daily immune shot
• or as the base for some winter gummies 🙌

Through all my trials & errors…  I realise health is actually built on the “boring basics” 🤍

Not the latest supplement.
Not the extreme cleanse.
Not another restrictive diet.

Just consistently supporting your body every single day.

And for me, food is one of the biggest foundations ✨

I’ve tried a lot of different ways of eating over the years — but I always come back to the same thing:

🥕 real food
🥩 enough protein
🥑 healthy fats
🌾 fibre + whole carbohydrates

Because balanced blood sugar impacts SO much more than people realise:
• hormones
• mood
• sleep
• energy
• gut health

Every meal doesn’t need to be perfect.
But a really simple place to start is asking:

→ where is my protein?
→ where is my healthy fat?
→ where is my fibre?

Simple. Foundational. Effective 🌿

I just received a new shipment of these natural incense by Tribe Earth and I absolutely love them!

They are made using only pure plant ingredients — no synthetics, glues, binders or hidden fragrances 🌿

There are so many benefits to this style of hot yoga - 26 postures, the 2 breathing exercises, in a room heated to 38°C. The sweating, the spinal movement, the nervous system support, the way it helps you reconnect with your body.

But lately I think the biggest benefit has simply been this:

Doing something because it makes me feel good.
Not for productivity.
Not because it’s trending.
Not to achieve anything.

Just because my body genuinely loves it.

And I think that’s the kind of health I’m most interested in now. 💛
