In our opinion the wine barrel is the most unique and aesthetically pleasing piece of furniture and this is why we love what we do. We began by restoring whole wine barrels for family members, but now we just can’t get enough. We specialise in whole barrel restorations and aim in achieving the original and rustic look of the barrels. The barrels we restore have been “wined” & dined, meaning they have some winery wounds. We are able to preserve the heritage of the barrels by sanding them back ever so slightly before our oiling process commences, keeping some of the wounds to top off the rustic look that we love. This highlights the wood grains as well as the individual barrel characteristics. We currently have a few in stock that are needing a new home. Please contact us for further information! 🍇🙌🏼

In our opinion, the wine barrel is one of the most unique & gorgeous pieces of furniture. They can act as a table top, a form of outdoor decor and many other things. We specialise in the restoration of whole barrels, it’s where we started. We aim to restore barrels to their original & rustic look by carefully sanding them back ever so slightly before applying our oil. This allows the natural wood look and individual barrel characteristics to be preserved. These barrels have been “wined” and dined, coming to us with some winery wounds before we make their incredible transformations!

Your belief and trust in the products are incredible and your comments of love for the wood creations is appreciated more than you know. To our support team and our beautiful customers, we wish you an amazing Christmas period and an even better New Year from the Along The Grain Team ❤️🙌🏼

These little treasures are some of creations we have created for everyone to enjoy. The candles & serving paddles come in all different sizes and the large salad bowls are for those outdoor tables that need some eye candy. These creations are made in order to ensure that they are made the exact way you want. We couldn’t let the gorgeous old wine barrels go to waste and strive to use all of the wood to create these treasures for you all to enjoy ✌🏼

The dark side of life has never looked so good. This platter was oiled to perfection, giving the wood that dark, rich and aesthetically pleasing look. This platter is for the ones that want to make their food and beverages stand out from the crowd. The large and more rustic handles are a subtle addition to the platter that tops it off perfectly 👌🏼

A simple & classic barrel top platter board created for all of your festive treats and cheese bingeing nights. This platter was finished with the finest food safe clear varnish to add a natural, crisp shine to the untreated wood. The simple but effective black handles allow the wood and it’s incredible grain to pop, giving it that rustic look that suits any type of surrounds. The sourdough was NOT included in the sale....
