The time has come, today is the final day for our little shop on Old Perth Road. I am truly overwhelmed by the outpouring of support and well wishes I have received over the past few weeks. It’s been an emotional time! I didn’t realise this a little shop made such an impact and I am touched by my beautiful customers who have expressed how much they will miss Mayhem Gifts. I have loved creating a place of joy for the past four years and I am so happy to hear it meant something to you as well. What a privilege it has been to be a part of Bassendean community and meeting so many fabulous people.

To my wonderful customers who have made me and Mayhem Gifts your friend - thank you, thank you, thank you. I will miss the chats and laughs but so pleased I had the opportunity to create this and share it with you.

Dear friends of Mayhem Gifts, the time has come for me to say farewell and thank you. After four years in beautiful Bassendean the shopfront will be closing its doors on 24 December. To all my wonderful customers, family and friends who have supported, encouraged and shared this journey with me I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you also to the amazing small businesses and beautiful people that run them who allowed me to stock their wares, I wish you all much deserved success.

Running the shop has not been easy by no means but I have no regrets and really have loved creating a colourful and joyful space in this fabulous part of the world and sharing my favourite finds with you all. But it was never going to be forever. As much as I would love the store to continue, I am no longer able to put the time, effort and energy in that it deserves.

The shop will be open right up until Christmas and stock will be discounted from Tuesday so please consider purchasing and stocking up for Christmas, birthdays, babies and beyond! The shop will have extended hours throughout December, details to follow. At this stage the online shop will remain open. I will continue to provide updates on what’s happening. Shop fittings will also be for sale, please inquire in store if interested. And please make use of your gift vouchers if you have any, however these are also valid for the online store.
