It's a big number, and it's already the talk of the counter this week. The draw is on Thursday 15 October, and there's plenty of time to grab an entry before then.

Powerball has a $60 million jackpot this Thursday 8 October, and big jackpot weeks are usually when we get the most questions about in-store syndicates.

An in-store syndicate is a ready-made group entry that we put together here in the store. It's one larger entry split into shares, so instead of buying the whole thing, you buy a share of it. If the entry picks up a prize, it's divided between everyone in the syndicate based on how many shares they hold.

The nice thing is there's nothing for you to organise. No chasing friends for money or keeping track of who's paid, it's all set up and ready to go. Just come in, have a look at the in-store syndicates we've got available, and choose a share size that suits your budget. Our team is always happy to explain how each one works.

🎃 Halloween's on its way, and the Heelers have already sorted their costumes.

The latest issue of Bluey Magazine has landed and it's a spooky one. The friendly kind of spooky, don't worry. There's a trick or treat game, a page of spooky stickers, and some fruit bat puzzles to keep little hands busy on a rainy arvo.

If you've got a young artist at home, there's a learn to draw section full of scary stuff, plus a few magic tricks to try. I have a feeling that magic show might get performed for the whole family after dinner, whether you asked for it or not.
