Join us at The Crafty Peacock for a practical, relaxed and slightly cheeky class where you’ll learn the sewing skills every man should have in his toolbox. We’ll cover how to sew on a button, mend a rip, take up your own pants and other handy fixes that can save you a trip to the tailor—and maybe save your favourite pair of jeans from the bin!
No fancy sewing experience required. Just bring yourself, your clothes that need a little TLC, and a willingness to learn.
Because knowing how to fix your own clothes is a skill worth having!

Whether you’re a seasoned stitcher or simply love discovering something new, this is a date you won’t want to miss. Come along, enjoy some creative time, meet fellow makers and, of course, have a weekend filled of quilting fabric and stitchy chat!

Calling all animal lovers,

At The Crafty Peacock we’ve got a whole menagerie of adorable critters and cheeky creatures to fabulous underwater worlds, magical mermaids and everything in between waiting or you to discover.
Our animal-themed fabrics are perfect for creating something a little bit special. Think library bags, dancing totes, cushions, kids’ quilts or perhaps a gorgeous mermaid-themed quilt for your favourite little swimmer. You can even mix and match your fabric with one of our many quilt panels in-store to create something truly unique.
And if choosing coordinating fabrics makes you want to hide under the cutting table… don’t worry!! Matching fabrics is what our staff are best at. Bring us your panel, tell us what you’re making and we’ll happily play “which fabric goes with which?” until we find the perfect combination.
