🎄❤️ LOOK CLOSER… EVERY GINGERBREAD TELLS A STORY AND THE REASON WHY!

At first glance, Gingerbread Cheer is just a whole lot of ridiculously cute Christmas chaos. 😂

But look a little closer…

Not every gingerbread looks the same.

There are little ones and older ones. Different families. Different personalities. Gingerbread characters living with disability. Even the four-legged family members made the cut. 🐶🐱

Because when we chose this print, we wanted it to look a little more like real life. ❤️

We’re not all the same.

We don’t all look the same, move through the world the same way, have the same families or share the same story.

But every single one of us belongs.

🩷🎄 Okay… I think it’s time I told you the story behind this one. 🥹

When Mel first showed me A Love Daphne Pinkmas, I cried.

Not because she'd designed a beautiful Christmas print… but because she'd somehow managed to put little pieces of my life into it.

Look closely at that pink Christmas tree and you'll find them. 🩷

🐶 A Basset Hound for my beautiful Sherbet & Dolly - who have genuinely been my saving grace after a particularly hard 12 months.

👢 A sparkly pink cowgirl boot because give me a western dress, hat and matching boots and apparently I can conquer the world. 😂

💛 An Endometriosis ribbon representing a HUGE part of my journey and something I'm incredibly passionate about raising awareness for.

🦩 A flamingo - my spirit animal and constant reminder that life is far too short to blend in.

🪩 And disco balls, because we have five hanging at Sparkle Central and every afternoon they send tiny sparkles dancing around the shop.

They’re such little things.

But they're MY things. 🥹

The things that bring me joy.
The things that have shaped me.
The things that remind me who I am.

And maybe that's actually what this print is about.

Not pink Christmas trees or flamingos or sparkly boots… but finding YOUR things. ❤️

The people, animals, memories, ridiculous shoes, passions and tiny everyday moments that make your life feel like yours.
