Are you trying to reduce the number of single use plastic bags? Once you get into the habit of having alternate shopping bags with you when you go shopping it becomes part of your shopping routine. Locally made Bawley Point & Kioloa Boomerang bags are for sale for $5 at Bawley IGA or contact me. If you can spare some time to sew some bags please let me know. I have plenty of donated fabric. All funds go back into community projects, like the Community Connect Pathway project and our local community SLS Nippers.

Ninety pockets silk screened today. Once they are ironed (to set the ink), they'll be ready to sew. Thank you Crystal Handebo for cutting out heaps of pockets. Margaret Oosting and Lynn Anne Gilmour for expertly sewing some more bags.

IGA Bawley Point sell the bags for $5. All money raised goes to our community SLS Nippers group and our Community Connect Pathway Project.

Saturday 29th April Boomerang Bag making day. 10-3pm Kioloa Community Hall. Bring scissors or a rotary cutter, sewing machine, black and white thread, morning tea and lunch. Tea and coffee provided. For more information ring 44571281

Bags for sale at Bawley Point IGA. $5 one way to say no to plastic shopping bags is to buy a reusable bag. Support our local environment and buy these locally made bags that use recycled fabric. Join me on Saturday 29th April at the Kioloa Community hall for a day of cutting and sewing bags we have lots of donated fabric we can use.
