I’ve pulled out an old retired bundle for a special project this week. Who remembers Pansy Patch. I was getting ready to be outraged about another stamp price rise on 1st July. I wouldn’t mind the rise if it meant you could send a card and have it delivered within a day or two, especially when you can get a parcel delivered next day from Amazon. But I’ve decided to be more determined than ever to send a card when I want friends/family to know I’m thinking of them. Yes, a text does too, but a card can go on a table or mantle to keep on blessing. And $1.85 doesn’t buy much else so it’s still an inexpensive way to show care. I still can’t send cards with ‘sympathy’ in the sentiment either - love this sentiment from the Beautiful Blues kit

I might’ve broken my best no buy run last month when the Notes & Totes dies were discounted on the Last Chance list as I had a special Birthday card to make and I think will make more to come. There are so many dies that make this a really fun set and after cutting out a few tote pieces from a selection of papers in my stash I eventually settled on the one for my card.
