The Trash and Treasure Market Jamison which is held every Sunday morning at Jamison Shopping Centre Macquarie, funds the community projects of the Rotary Club of Belconnen. Thirty years ago, the Club built Rotary Cottage at the then Calvary Hospital. This financial year, a major project of the Club in partnership with Calvary Private Hospital Bruce has been the refurbishment of what is now Calvary Rotary Cottage. The official reopening of the Cottage took place on Monday 20th of April 2026.

It is from the fees paid by stallholders and gate donations by visitors at the Trash and Treasure Market Jamison that the Rotary Club of Belconnen was able to fund its portion of this refurbishment. Thank you to our stallholders and visitors.
The Cottage is administered by Calvary Private Hospital Bruce and is available to patients and family of both that hospital and the North Canberra Public Hospital. The much-treasured Calvary Rotary Cottage has undergone a $100,000 refurbishment in its 30th year, enabling the service to continue providing a supportive home away from home for families of private and public hospital patients.
