We haven’t traditionally stayed in a lot of caravan parks… but this one deserves a proper shout-out. 👏
We stayed at Yarra Valley Caravan Park for our first little shakedown trip in the new van, and we were seriously impressed.

The sites are HUGE, and what we loved most is that the guys running the park haven’t tried to cram vans into every available inch. They’ve kept so much of the natural bushland and beautiful old trees, so it actually feels like you’ve got room to breathe.
Then there’s the retro charm. 😍 The whole place has a bit of personality about it — from the old-school signage to the camp kitchen and communal areas — and the amenities are fastidiously clean. And yes, we checked. 😂
You can tell there’s a lot of work and care going into this place, and the guys deserve some recognition for what they’re creating.
We’ve got a feeling there might be a few more weekend-warrior trips on the cards over the next 12 months, so maybe caravan parks may become a more regular part of our travels. 😬
If this is the standard, we’re off to a pretty good start. ❤️
