Belmont Kids Carousel was started in 1996 after the birth of our 3rd child as we felt the service and range available in the Hunter and coast was lacking and that we could set up and run a Baby Store much better than all the ones we had to shop at for our children, we now have 6 children and have helped to raise many more through not only the store but also our commitment to foster care of distres

The store has changed many times over the years , adapting to what our customers wants and needs , at one stage we became a rather large store but we felt we were not able to look after our friends and customers as well when it was too big so at our new location on the Pacific Hwy Belmont Nth we went back to a mid size and specialised a little more . In looking at our figures over the last couple of years it was obvious that everyone was coming to us for CAR SAFETY & PRAMS AND REPAIRS . All other product made less than 10 % of the business so we adapted to you and we hope you love the result, we do ! As of 10 th January 2022 our newest store is 7 Ernest st Belmont .

Our Story

Belmont Kids Carousel now also known as CHILD RESTRAINTS DONE RIGHT was started in 1996 after the birth of our 3rd child as we felt the service and range available in the Hunter and Coast was lacking and that we could set up and run a Baby Store much better than all the ones we had to shop at for our children, we now have 6 children and have helped to raise many more through not only the store but also our commitment to foster care of distressed infants. The store has changed many times over the years , adapting to what our customers wants and needs , at one stage we became a rather large store , over 3000 sq feet and two levels but we felt we were not able to look after our friends and customers as well when it was too big so now at our new location at 340 Pacific Hwy Belmont Nth 2280 we have gone back to a small to mid size and specialized a little more , Mostly in car safety as we found this the most neglected section of our industry in the Hunter and Coast area !

We are also now training the next generation of fitters to be ready to take my place as I get older and less able to do the jobs to my satisfaction.
