* thin towels that are scratchy and uncomfortable to use.

The solutions:
* hooded towels are way easier to hang.
* embroidered character on the hood makes for a more fun experience.
* embroidered name increases ownership and responsibility for their towel.
* thick, plush super absorbent.
* will last for years of daily use.
* bright & fun colours.

Our hooded towels solve problems, they are just that clever!

It’s all in the tiny details!

When asked for a “fairy” design I was shocked to find that CUSTOM EMBROIDERY | PERSONALISED GIFTS | HOODED TOWELS didn’t have one at all in our extensive range. In fact, I got quite a fright that it’s taken me five yrs of embroidering hooded towels to even notice!

Problem rectified now.

And isn’t she so worth it!?!

F A N C Y - with a dash of sass!

When a hooded towel has as much sass as its little person things have gotta be good… right?!?

For that little one who manages to pull off that “classy but sassy” attitude this towel is absolute perfection!

Why not have a bit of fun when choosing the character to add to the hood of your towels?

Another “first time I’ve ever sewn up this pattern” towel done and dusted and on its way to the other side of the country.

Just do it!

Mid 2021 I moved to a new state and a new town.

Caring for my mum who had dementia.

Right in the middle of Victoria’s notorious “lock downs”.

We knew no one (except my son and granddaughter Evie).

What better to do than start a little biz and attend weekend markets?

The positives - I’d learn new skills, meet people & fill in time while mum slept.

The negatives - I had no idea how to run a small business!

More positives - I have met and made some amazing friends through markets and running CUSTOM EMBROIDERY | PERSONALISED GIFTS | HOODED TOWELS

I have learnt that I know very little about anything business related (retired high school agriculture teacher right here!)

I have learnt that you are never too old to learn new skills or to ask questions and chat.

I have learnt that I love making things for other people that will be treasured for many years.

So… go ahead and start that business. Prepare to learn and to grow. It’s a wild ride at times and a lonely quiet one at others but I wouldn’t have it any other way!

On the way to a brand new home with a very new bubba, she is sure to be a much loved and used hooded towel.

There’s something about these cheeky little Lady Bugs, I just love it when I get to sew one up for a customer!

What would you choose?

Our towels are completely custom made.

For you and especially for your little person!

Start with choosing a colour.

Then a size.

Great start!

Then comes the tough part - choose the character you want embroidered on the hood, we have hundreds for you to select from!

You are welcome to have as much input as you like, some customers want heaps, a lot just tell me to choose!

Totally up to you!

The stock photos on www.monnymakes.com.au are just that, stock photos supplied by the embroidery designer.

We do our best to colour match if possible but totally enjoy the process of changing things up!

So what’s stopping you from creating a pink dinosaur with a green bow on its head?
