As more Indie Authors start rolling in, the shelves are slowly filling again, and there are now so many different worlds that you can escape into! So, let's keep this bandwagon going with another Indie Author Saturday!

Did you know about our Discount Shelf in store? It's a good spot to look if you're looking for a cheeky bargain, and I quite often shuffle the stock around and add more!

This shelf (the little skinny one right by the counter) is filled with books and series that are 10% Off ALL the time! The major reason that they get moved to this shelf is that they've sat on the shelves for a little too long, and I always want to make room for more new stock.

Prices on the back of the books are not their discount price, so please do not hesitate to ask me for the price or do the math in your head if you're super smart like that.

OH. MY. GOD. FIRST EVER PROPER EOODLAND MERCHANDISE IS HERE!! ...kinda..
These tote bags will be making their debut at Secrets in the Pages! And if they sell out on the day I might lose my mind but that shows that they have an audience! And I WILL be stocking these in store after the event too!

PSA INCOMING, PLEASE READ!

For those who have orders with us at the moment, some of you might have received a message from us yesterday detailing that we are unsure of the fulfilment times for some of these orders.

After getting no reply from one of our suppliers for three weeks, I had multiple phone calls with them earlier in the week, only to find out that their systems are down after a hack(something that we were not alerted to). I was told that they had my money from my previous order and the quote on file, but they would not be able to ship the books until they were back online (something that I will NOT be alerted to either)

I have offered refunds to those with orders from this supplier if they wish, or, if people are happy to wait, I will try sourcing them from a different supplier, or we just wait it out.

Unfortunately, this is not a one-off situation; dealing with 5+ suppliers is hard, and sometimes they don't care for the littler stores like us. This is also why I tell people orders will take a MINIMUM of three weeks to arrive.

Please bear with us whilst we try and sort this stupid situation out. You can still come in store and ask about ordering books and I will always disclose to you if we can not get them at the present time.

WOODLAND COLLECTION'S BOOK WEEK BASH IS HERE AGAIN!!

Book Week is fast approaching, and, once again, Woodland Collection invites all goblins big and small to join us for some adventuring fun! Get ready for a Symphony of Stories and to have fun with us all day! Our Book Week day will run all day from 10am to 2pm on Saturday August 22nd.

🌹First and foremost, dressing up is a MUST! Get into that book week spirit and score yourself a cheeky discount on the day. (10% Off for all who can tell me who they're dressed up as!(discount not stackable))

🪻We will have some giveaways running on the day if you can find a hidden something in store (a children's and a teen/adult category and prizes!)

🌷The fabulous Flick and Kylie, who run our pop up playgroup each month, will be running a pop-up Playgroup in the back with lots of fun activities and maybe some stories here and there.

🌻For Young and Old, try your hand at making a musical instrument and help create a symphony in store.

🌼We will have book week colouring and activity sheets in the quiet area too if you need a moment to chill out.

There's nothing much to it really. When I opened the shop back in 2023, I was happy just to have customers on the first day, but now that we've built this fanbase of Young Adult loving readers, I feel that you all deserve to level up for your loyalty.

To become a true goblin in our store, you might already be one by simply coming in and making a purchase! Otherwise, you can take the next best step and sign up for our Loyalty Program!

Earn Leaves with every purchase you make in store and stack them up to earn discounts and freebies. There might, maybe be more rewards in the future, but I think these rewards are pretty good for a start.

INDIE AUTHOR SATURDAY IS HERE AGAIN!

'Anna (they/them) is a q***r author and poet based in Naarm/Melbourne. They love to read and write cosy fantasy/sci-fi both in poetry and prose. THE STARSHIP L.O.L.A
Beatrice, a lonely traveller, floats through unknown territory in space. Trapped in a survival pod, she has no clue how she ended up there and little memory of much else. All the while, she is haunted by the ghost of someone she feels she should know.
