With the challenges of covid and lockdowns Sassart jewellers offers virtual appointment where you can chat to the jeweller and discuss the design. Using the latest technologies of computer-aided design (CAD) a 3D rendered picture can now be offered, as well as a wax version that can be sent to customers giving the ability to view the pieces at home. The studio is open by appointment only

Loved this idea. Not only using generational gold to handmake the wedding ring but to add a coloured sapphire in the band for a little special meaning. It will travel around the finger as it’s worn.

Pretty solid opal and diamond pendant. It’s often the stories behind the jobs that make it so rewarding. I never loose the appreciation of a person that not only values what I do but seeks out my guidance and works via photos and messages to have the piece made. Keeper rings? A fine ring that keeps a slightly too large ring in place. I call them winter rings, as the finger can shrink one to two sizes during winter and you don’t want to resize it, but scared it may fly off during the colder months. So….. do you have old unused gold? One earring, a broken chain, unwanted charm, tiny pendant? A fine ring can be made and look the part for these freezing months.
