Poor Haimish has been struggling with his breathing and anxiety a lot more lately. This has caused him to struggle more with grooming.
Drying and brushing that floof takes a long time, and he started hyperventilating during his last couple of grooms and having trouble cooling down after walks.
So after some consultation with some of my favourite groomers, I took the plunge and clipped him into a lion trim hoping it would help him cool down easier. (I can't bring myself to trim his mane and antenna's just yet)

Well, success, the little man is already showing signs of feeling better, his breathing has improved and he recovered from his walk today in a couple of minutes not 10+ it usually takes.

As groomers we are taught not to clip double coats, especially Pomeranians as it can effect their coat and alter the way they regulate their temperature, but if the dog is struggling medically or cannot tolerate the grooming process of removing dead undercoat, then sometimes clipping is actually the best thing for them.

I will always do what is best for the dog, and whilst I am sad clipping his fur, I am so overjoyed to see how much happier he is without full coat.

It happened again. Someone didn't show up for their appointment, so the girls had a bath and blow dry.

Two no shows in two weeks. That's $200 that doesn't go towards maintaining the 3 stooges' lifestyle (Well Haimish's vet fund)

🐾❤️ INTERNATIONAL DOG DAY ❤️🐾

Today we celebrate the unconditional love, loyalty and pure joy that dogs bring into our lives. And as we celebrate our four-legged friends, we can’t help but remember the wonderful Dolly Parton and her enormous love for animals. 🐶✨

Dolly always had a special place in her heart for dogs, often speaking about the comfort, companionship and happiness they bring. She understood something every dog lover knows — sometimes the best therapy comes with four paws, a wagging tail and absolutely no judgement. 🥰

So today, give your dog an extra cuddle, an extra treat and maybe a little more time on the couch. Because to them, you are their whole world. 🌏

Some beautiful pups who have crossed to the Rainbow Bridge this year 🌈

I groomed these dogs for a number of years until I had to close in 2023 due to my injury.

I am so thankful they were booked after by other groomers while I couldn't.

I love each and every dog I groom, whether I groom them once, or 50 times, I remember them all 💜

Apologies to their families for not posting sooner, my old grooming photos are stored safely on a hard drive, which I put somewhere safe, where I could't remember where.

This little man with the contagious smile, crossed the Rainbow Bridge on the weekend 🌈
Indy loved being groomed, he would get so excited when you asked him if he wanted to go "swim swim".
I absolutely fell in love with him, and have missed seeing him the last few years as he was too ill to travel to me.
If it wasn't for meeting, and falling in love with him, we wouldn't have Haimish 💖

I got to groom his sister Tw***ie today, and a few tears were shed 😪
Sending all my love to Tracey, Brian and Tw***ie, and I will be forever grateful that I met this special little guy.
