I am a grandmother as well as a mother of two adult children. I enjoy nothing more than baking for my customers and seeing the smiles on their faces when they see my creations. I entered and won my first cake competition in the U.K. when I was only 15! From that point forth I knew baking was my talent. ars ago I was asked to create and operate a cake stall at The Good Guys shop in Loganholme to raise funds for a not-for-profit organisation. As this was my first foray into selling the fruits of my labour I grossly underestimated the demand and was completely sold out within two hours. It was at this point that I made the decision to establish Busy Making Cupcakes and begin a tradition of baking my delicious treats for my delightful customers, most of whom are now regulars. One of my baking specialisations is the creation of fondant decorations. After taking a tour of the photo gallery on this site you will see a sample of my creations. I am well known for the quality of frosting I use on the cupcakes and cakes that I produce. I receive continuous positive feedback about this. I produce all my cupcakes and cakes from scratch using base ingredients as I believe packet and convenience mixes provide for a very generic taste experience, an experience which I do not consider to be good enough for my customers.
