The bittersweet ache of loving something you know you have to let go.

In Japan, they call this Mono No Aware (物の哀れ)— the beautiful, gentle sadness of impermanence. It’s the realization that things are precious because they are fleeting.

While I’ve only walked through Kyoto during its summer and autumn months, this philosophy completely transformed how I look at nature.
The trees don’t hold onto their beauty forever, and neither can we.

That is the heartbeat behind my business. I can’t freeze time, but I can sit with the beauty of a moment a little while longer.

This bottle holds a delicate hanami-inspired palette: pepper berries, sakura-pink and magenta hydrangea, baby star flowers, gypsophila, and pink dollar gum.

It won’t last forever. But it’s a quiet reminder on your shelf to love things deeply while they are here.

That feeling has a name in Japan: Mono No Aware (物の哀れ) — mono, “things.” no, “of.” aware, a feeling stirred deep enough to ache.
A Japanese concept which finds profound beauty in the bittersweet awareness of life’s impermanence.

Hanami, flower viewing, is what people do with that feeling instead of just sitting with it. By celebrating cherry blossoms that bloom brilliantly and fall within a week, the tradition teaches that true beauty lies not in holding on, but in gracefully accepting the fleeting nature of all things.

This bottle captures the essence of Sakura— its pepper berries, sakura-pink and magenta hydrangea, baby star flowers, gypsophila, and pink dollar gum, pressed together in a hanami palette.

Not held forever. Just held a little longer than a week would have allowed.
