The boss has headed south on a shopping spree for dust collectors for Biloela Florist’s shelves, so that leaves me in charge! I know how much our customers love native arrangements, and we have some lovely flowers here at the moment. Good natives have been a bit hard to get lately. SO! I’ve smashed out a couple of “creations” for your optical pleasure. There are certain rules and principles to flower arranging that I totally disregard usually, never been good at rule following….. nevertheless these little babies look awesome, even if I say so myself! The boss isn’t a big fan of my “Avantgarde” style, I must say, so I need to move these before she gets back! So if you can help, that would be cool! There are heaps of other flowers here too, if natives aren’t your thang, so don’t be scared. Will show you tomorrow in a post…….. if I have time?! Have a nice evening.

Had the pleasure of heading away to do some floristry at Biloela Florist this Valentine’s Day 💐 So grateful for the experience!

And a little highlight was getting to create Corey’s bouquet for Keeley from Farmer Wants a Wife last year! 🌸✨ He’s just as lovely in person!

It’s Valentine’s Day tomorrow, and here at Biloela Florist, it seems that most of the purchasing traffic is “boy 4 girl”! The apprentice here would love to see a lot more “girl 4 boy” action! It would be fair to say that “boys” aren’t so much into flowers, but if you ARE a boy, and you like flowers, there’s nothing wrong with that! The apprentice here isn’t a big fan of fleurs, so he has designed a “bloke hamper” full of cool stuff that he loves! Like beer, chips, nuts, jerky, chocolates……. You know, the good stuff. And if you’re a girl and fancy this sort of stuff, well ……..theres nothing wrong with that either! The apprentice also loves to talk to the ladies, but that doesn’t mean he can’t relate to the boys, He is totally cool with “boy 4 boy” and “girl 4 girl” purchasing action as well. So we have got it all covered, just come on in and we’ll do it right for you! You can even get flowers or a bear or a candle. We have plenty of options! The Biloela Florist ginger bread house has been completed for 2025, so if you fancy to donate for our Carols by Candlelight community event, feel free. If you donate and vote that our house is the best in Biloela, Emma whom made the house will win an all expenses paid trip to the Bahamas, so that would be nice for her, hey? The Carols gig is down at the Silo on December 7, where all will be revealed! See you there! P.S. The Bahamas thing, may not be completely accurate, but we’ll let you know. Watch this space!
