Gecko Leather Shed We create unique, hand stitched leather items using quality Australian and English leather. Our family business is situated in the beautiful Adelaide Hills.

Gecko Leather Shed began as S & K Leather Creations in early 2017. Shell & Kristy were looking for a better balance between career, family & the things we love to do. Leaving professional careers behind we both began working in completely different fields but were looking for something creative to engage with. Family life has always been connected with horses and saddlery, hubby AJ is a Saddler an

d was keen to pass on his leather craft skills. We share the workshop at AJ's Saddlery and Canvas. Our leather products are made locally in Birdwood and hand stitched. We source quality leather hides - kangaroo, cow, crocodile, ostrich and emu to name a few. Our crocodile hat bands, key rings, belts & ear rings use quality, ethically sourced Australian crocodile hide. A few years ago we began attending markets both local and interstate. This was a great way to share our creations and meet new people. AJ, Kristy and Shell recently decided to create a permanent market space at home and created Gecko Leather Shed. Come and check out our unique, hand-crafted leather creations plus handmade bridles, reins, breastplates and more. We also specialise in custom-made items, so feel free to reach out to us for any specific requests. If the sign is out we,re open for you to come have a chat.
