We had a fabulous and exciting quilt finished in our hand piecing class last Friday!
Sue B. started this sampler quilt approx 35 years ago with Di Ford at her shop Primarily Patchwork in Maling Rd, Canterbury.
After taking a long break, Sue wanted to get back to making it. She came to our shop one day with a few blocks already made, but no idea what to do to get started again.
As luck would have it, Di was teaching for us at that stage and we managed to get a few classes for Sue with Di, before Di became unwell.
Fast forward a few more years and the final stitches were put in the binding last Friday.
What a beautiful memory of a past quilt designed by Di Ford-Hall.
All fabrics were originally purchased from Primarily Quilts (with the exception of the binding and backing).
Congratulations Sue on a beautiful finish ❤️
