Good thing Vince Strang Motorcycles does a good job with suspension. Had a scrounge around in the dumpster and grabbed a few bits whilst they were at the coffee van, at least I think it was the dumpster. Vince Strang has so much trick s**t put there he is unlikely to notice.
Being a responsible adult I checked the live traffic app and it said go home through Glen inne, aparently it rained a little on the coast since Monday morning.
The dirt off kings plain amazes me in that the last four times I have been in there I have came out in four different places. Exploring not lost, honest
120km of tarto grafton didn't excite so old grafton road it was. Started raining at the start and didn't really stop
Amazed at the lack of traffic till 20km after dalmorton the bridge was 1.5m under water at the edge.
The idea of backtracking 110km to the hwy was out but sheepstaion creek road caouseways would be under so plan c was Mt Highlands.
Lucky we pumped up the trailwings before we left so they would grip on the abundant red clay.
Still raining and cold and foggythe small trees down and the slippery clay took my mind off the shivering.
Just when the fuel got low enough to make bactraking unlikely a huge log with fences and no way around.
It was a bit nerveracking getting to the Mt highlands turnoff but all good
Strangely the thick fog and rain through windy hills on the tar seemed so much better on the way home.
Nothing like being alone in remote country unsure if you can get out in the rain and cold and a bit of flooding to add a little excitement to the day.
I have know idea why people complain about going riding with me, all under control
