During the many years I offered clients Reiki in its many different forms, this has been one of the most important areas of healing awareness and intention I’ve focused on to date.

There is something about this Lion’s Gate that feels especially significant to me.

Perhaps because I am a Leo, I have always felt a connection to the symbolism of the lion — courage, strength, heart and the quiet determination to keep moving forward.

But this year, it feels different.

I don't feel called to use this moment to ask the universe for more.

I feel called to release.

To acknowledge everything I have carried.

To honour the parts of myself that have survived experiences I never expected to walk through.

And to make space for the person who has been quietly finding her way back.

Maybe transformation isn't always about becoming about becoming someone new.

Sometimes it is about remembering who you were before life became so heavy.

Taking back the pieces of yourself that became buried beneath responsibility, survival, expectation and change.

So this Lion’s Gate, my intention is simple...

To release what I no longer need to carry.

To trust what is unfolding.

To follow the quiet voice within.

And to keep returning to me.

Perhaps that is what your life is asking of you, too.

Not to become more.

But to make space for more of who you already are.

I would call my current chapter "The Quiet Between Chapters."

It's that space after one season has ended, but before the next has fully begun.

Over the past few weeks, I've closed a business that was part of my life for many years. We're preparing to leave the home we've known, waiting to hear where the next door will open, and learning to trust a future that still feels unwritten.

Some days, I'll admit, that uncertainty feels uncomfortable.

We naturally want answers. We want to know what's coming next.

But this season is teaching me something I never expected...

Quiet doesn't always mean nothing is happening.

Sometimes roots are growing where we can't yet see them.

Sometimes the page has to turn before the next chapter can begin.

I'm choosing to believe that something beautiful is already unfolding, even if I can't see the whole picture yet.
