When the gates open and the music starts, it’s easy to see the lights, the entertainment, the campfires and the crowds…
But behind every moment of Boggabri Drovers Campfire is something even more special — our people. ❤️
Our incredible volunteers, who give their time, energy and weekends to make it all happen.
Our sponsors and local businesses, who believe in our little town and help make the event possible.
Our community, who opens its arms to hundreds of visitors, gets behind the event and helps create the atmosphere that makes Drovers so special.
And all the people working quietly behind the scenes — planning, organising, setting up, cleaning up, cooking, promoting, answering questions, moving equipment, selling tickets and solving the inevitable last-minute dramas! 😂
There are countless hours that go into bringing Drovers Campfire to life, and most of them happen long before the first visitor arrives and long after the last campfire goes out.
This is more than an event. It’s community. It’s mateship. It’s volunteers giving back. It’s local businesses supporting local people. It’s our town coming together and showing visitors what country hospitality is all about.
So today, we want to shine the spotlight on the people behind the event.
