Aussie Owned and Operated, our small batch candles are made with top notch natural soy wax. Rainy Day Candle Co came about during the COVID lockdown in 2021. I (Irene – how do you do) and my partner Gabby have been put on furlough from a boring accounting job and assistant manager in produce and as the furlough went on it became apparent; we may have to look for another job. So, after looking for

things to occupy our time, I was encouraged by my other half to ‘have a go’ at making some travel tin candles to combine with Gabby's skills in personalised printing. With UV printer in tow, we knew it’s going to be a challenge, but as I’ve always loved candles, I decided to have a crack at those. Fast forward to now and what started with a $60 candle kit and a whole lot of blood, sweat, tears and wax, we have taken up candles making, our latest labour of love. Together with my partner Gabby, we do everything from conception and design to production and are incredibly proud of our wax babies. So, in Queensland's glow, in the land of warmth, where the grass is green, we're crafting, printing and laughing as a duo so keen.

We recently had the pleasure of working with the lovely Ramesa Nursery, creating personalised, high-quality printed artworks on canvas for her upcoming gallery exhibitions — and we couldn’t be happier with how they turned out!

Seeing our prints showcased and offered for sale at her art exhibitions is incredibly rewarding. There’s nothing better than helping bring someone’s creative vision to life.
