All hand crafted items are made from recycled timbers found in the Goldfields and surrounding areas of Western Australia. Beads come

in random sizes and shapes because of the nature of the local timbers and the harshness of the environment they are grown in. Wholesale purchases welcome, please enquire. The more common timbers I use are mulga, pixie bush, gimlet, boree, jarrah, sandalwood, gidgee, Goldfields blackbutt and others. All timbers used by Chunky Timber Company have been found on the forest floor or recycled from discarded timbers in the area.

The timber beads are made of reclaimed timber from WA Goldfields by Chunky Timber Co. and oiled using environmentally friendly and food safe, Gilly's Australia. This pendant is approx. 62mm long, 20mm wide and 21mm deep. It has a flattened back and a domed shape front.

Threaded onto cream braided cord and finished with a sliding adjustable clasp. The slide clasp and ends of the cord are created with waxed cotton in a light saddle brown colour which picks out the colour of the wood and adds a lovely contrast to the minimalist style of the piece.

This gorgeous gender-neutral necklace is adjustable from approx. 71cm/28 inches at its largest to any size that suits you or your neckline on the day.

With no metal clasp, crimp beads or other metal findings this necklace may be suitable for people with a metal allergy and others with limited manual dexterity or fine-motor coordination.
