COFFEE VAN OPPORTUNITY, EAST BOWRAL
Could your coffee van become the go-to coffee spot at the Southern Highlands Botanic Gardens?
We’re looking for an experienced coffee van operator to establish a regular presence at our highly visible and accessible Car Park location at 1 Old South Road, Bowral, at the busy round-about corner of Old South Road and Kangaloon Road.
This is an opportunity for a coffee business to establish in a location with a diverse and growing customer base, from early-morning workers and commuters to walkers, weekend park-runners, Garden visitors and tourists, our popular event attendees and anyone dropping in to use our amenities before they reach town.
Early mornings: Start the day serving tradespeople, workers, commuters and morning walkers.
Garden visitors: Our visitors to the playground, plant nursery and picnic-goers, can enjoy a coffee as they explore the Gardens, with the Southern Highlands Botanic Gardens attracting both locals and tourists.
Parkrun every Saturday morning: We are the home of Southern Highlands parkrun, a free, timed 5km community event held every Saturday morning at 8am, attracting an average of over 160 participants and walkers each week.
Regular events: The Gardens host events throughout the year, including gardening workshops, seasonal garden sales from our nursery, plant fairs, book launches and other community events – bringing additional visitors.
Bunya Pavilion: Our venue is also regularly hired by locals and community groups for meetings, workshops, celebrations and other events.
Highly accessible location: Situated at the round about intersection of Old South and Kangaloon Roads, the Gardens provide easy access for passing traffic, local residents and visitors travelling into and around the Southern Highlands.
For the right operator, this is an opportunity to become an established and recognisable coffee destination serving the community seven days a week, while building a loyal local customer base around one of the Southern Highlands’ growing attractions. There is no other café nearby and customers have the ease of pulling over onto the road verge or coming into our sizeable carpark.
