The recent CAAS festival played host to many, many fine Guitarists from around the globe….not to mention how many Maton guitars were on show as well.

Tommy Emmanuel, Joe Robinson, Gareth Pearson and Emil Ernebro to name just a few performers who played the festival to honour the great Chet Atkins.

The Maton Artist.

Within all of our smaller 808 shapes lies a mighty bass response and a focused projection, ideally suited for the recording studio or live stage.

Since 1978, the 808 series has stood the test of time and the Artist series in particular is a culmination of decades of learning, not just of tonal qualities, but also the importance of manufacturing techniques and aesthetic design.

A solid Spruce sound board, solid Blackwood back and sides and one of the world’s finest acoustic pickups in the AP5-PRO is not the end of the Artist story. This model also features some of the finest design qualities of any Maton model. Timber binding, snowflake inlays and gold hardware add to the aesthetic of this fine guitar. A real testament to skill and dedication of our Maton Team.
