The first buds are officially opening on the pear tree in the bottom of our garden. Spring is about to come in full swing!

The spring flowering bulbs are in full swing here. The shorter stemmed flowers are just so pretty in a carpet format!

Restocked after yesterday being sold out.

Very similar blooms this week to previous. You’ll see lisianthus, thryptomene, daffodils, snapdragons and different greenery (all locally grown) and spring or two of chrysanthemums (purchased to add some bling)

This week I’ve made sure there are more closed daffodils so they open in your vases and make each bunch last longer

We harvest/bunch twice per week (Wednesday/Thursday and Sunday/Monday) so that all flowers are as fresh as possible

It looks like Wednesday it’s the day for flowers … last bunch sold already for today!

If you need something in a pinch … give me a call and I’ll wrangle something for you by the late afternoon.

I’m off to pick more and hydrate them ready for tomorrow!

I love being able to inspire people to get a garden back up and running.

I was helping out a family whose garden was overgrown and after a few hours of weeding and sorting… we have a newly formed bed, ringing the old bottlebrush with chrysanthemums in the centre and hippiastrum on the edges (I stopped counting them at over 150). In a few weeks, the middle ring will be filled with some new compost and an amazing array of dahlias (then mulched)

We still have to sort through a few buckets of arum lilies, dahlias, calla lilies, ixias … but that’s going to be fun finding new homes for them too

Ok, I know Ive mentioned it a few times about other plants but this is simply crazy … here is a nice tuber clump I’ve divided and as you can see on this tuber, there’s no missing the eyes!

Not all the tubers are like this, just a handful of varieties, but those varieties are always amongst the first to flower

So let’s start an experiment! I’m going to pot up the tubers that are saying to me … “Oi, plant me!”

The winds from the storm last night were horrible!

We’re in the process of getting new carpet put in and had to move some cupboards onto the verandas … even tied down, one didn’t make it! It got tossed around like a cardboard box

I hope everyone else is safe

No need for a star picket lifter when the glorified wheelbarrow (AKA tractor) can do the job!

We are now able to offer a home delivery subscription service of our bouquets for the duration of our growing season!

So if you want a beautiful bunch of flowers delivered to your door weekly, the decision just got really easy ... do you want a standard bunch or a large?

How it works: you pay for a fortnight in advance, can pause for a fortnight or cancel if you're done. You'll get your selected bunch delivered to your home.

We will automatically deliver to your door a bunch of flowers on the following days for these locations:
Thursdays:
Queanbeyan, Karwoola, Kowen, Bungendore, Mulloon, Manar, Warri, Larbert, Marlowe, Tomboye and Durran Durra
Fridays:
Braidwood, Mongarlowe, Bombay, Farringdon, Jembaicumbene, Reidsdale, Majors Creek, Araluen and Bendoura
If you are outside of these zones, we will contact you before proceeding with your order. You will get a full refund if we cannot service your area, but for now, these two days will ensure that you have farm fresh flowers for you on a weekend.
