Available, a french c19th "Cartonnier"

Sourced directly from France, this handsome antique French Cartonnier is a rare, late 19th-century notary filing cabinet crafted from solid oak. Built in the classic Louis Philippe style, it features a prominent top cornice and fluted side pilasters framing eight deep document drawers. Each drawer front is wrapped in a warm tan leatherette and detailed with elegant gold-tooled borders. Notably, the right-hand pilaster acts as a traditional hinged locking bar, allowing you to secure all eight compartments simultaneously with a single key. It makes a stunning statement piece for a home office, library, or retail space!

This is an authentic mid-1950s French train station clock originally used to display departure times for travelers at the Rennes train station in Brittany, France.

Sourced directly from the historic railway network in Rennes, a major transit hub linking Brittany with Paris.

Crafted around the mid-1950s, representing the post-war modernization era of French national railways (SNCF).

The massive scale, heavy stylized Roman numerals, and high-contrast black hands were specifically chosen so hurried commuters could quickly read the time from anywhere across a busy platform or waiting hall.

Dimensions 61 wide / 18cm depth
