If you are after any, or know of a folk music club that may like them, please let me know.
Have emailed a couple but got no response, so only serious leads please.

We have some copies of the biography of Ron Edwards for sale. They are in the Biography section on our website.

the book, Ron Edwards and the Fight for Australian Tradition was written after Ron's passing by his life long friend Keith McKenry.

It is a big book covering his whole personal life, and the many interests he pursued - Australian bushcrafts, culture, Indigenous culture and art, but mainly his role as a prominent figure in the folklore and folk music scene.

Ron received an Order of Australia for his lifetime's work collecting and collating our historical folklore and crafts, which culminated into the extensive range of books we sell - over 360 in his lifetime!

We are clearing out some very old stock which creates a bargain for you! You can find them in the Leatherwork section on our website.

These are hard cover copies of More Bush Leatherwork that were printed a long time ago.
They were boxed in the Kuranda bush for many decades so are not pristine on the outside although all new. There is some foxing on the pages as well.
Anyway they will be on our website for $22.00 plus postage. The new soft covers are $55.

We have removed the tariff for US customers!
Apparently it does not apply to printed material due to The Berman Agreement.
Books destined for the US will now be as they were before - GST exempt and Tariff exempt.
That is good news for a change.

If you happen to be in Yungaburra this weekend, Keith McKenry will be at the Tablelands Folk Festival, and will present
'RON EDWARDS AND THE FIGHT FOR AUSTRALIAN TRADITION'

It will also be the launch of Keith's book of the same name, which traces Ron's astoundingly busy life as an author and artist to his passing in 2006.

I have attached a program for those who may be interested. Keith is an amazing orator, and it should be an interesting presentation.

UPDATE RE THE NEW TARIFF FOR US CUSTOMERS

Australia Post is working with a company called Zonos who will be collecting the new 10% tariff on behalf of the US Government.

As a consequence sellers have to add this 10% tariff and the Zonos fee to our products. Their fee is 10% of the 10% plus a handling fee.

We have added 12% on to the price of our books for US customers, and will see how this goes covering our costs to Zonos. The tax will show up in the checkout along with the shipping costs.

AUSTRALIA POST HAS SUSPENDED ALL PARCELS TO THE UNITED STATES UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE FROM TODAY 26TH AUGUST.

We're Back! - well we will be tomorrow.

The past month we have traveled 12,345klm across this wonderful country from South East Queensland to Western Australia, through South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales.
An epic journey through deserts, fields of grapes, sheep, cattle, lush forests and back to tropical rain and flooding!
It is indeed a land of drought and flooding rains.
We've lived in FNQ and went up the Cape in the 1980s when it was indeed a very rough track, so next trip will be north west, to new adventures.
In the meantime, it is back to work!
