Bastille Day.

Somewhere in France today there is a courtyard like this one. Old stone warming in the light, a café table waiting, the kind of quiet you cannot manufacture, only wait a hundred years for.

Golden hour, a fern, and a little patina. 🌿

Seychelle is a small footed cachepot in pierced metal, worked like lace so the light passes right through it. Antique gold with an aged finish, a ring handle on each side, three little feet to lift it off the table. It has the look of something carried home from a market in the south.
