100% silk Haori - short kimono robes.
These make fantastic mid season jackets, dress up or dress down over jeans. They also make beautiful gifts and dressing gowns.

I wear them often and they are so beautiful to wear!

Only one rack at this price, they are plainer more geometric patterns. This is a bargain for silk, even cut up to repurpose.

The rack will be out the front and the Sale does not include the other beautiful ones in store. Those are $75 to $125 for Shibori and embroidered Haori and Kimono. I just unpacked some new stunning ones of each in divine spring florals.

Current obsession is plate walls……this is ours in the shop, all these beautiful plates and platters are for sale.

There were alot more plates to put up but apparently lots of other people had the same idea on the weekend and they already sold!

We also have the wire plate hangers in stock for $5 each.
Don’t forget we now open Mondays - usually only till about 2pm though.

So we did a thing…..
We built some new shop fittings from old furniture and switched our entire shop around. We have also unpacked all of the treasures we found in NSW and Tasmania, and have filled every available space with the most fabulous finds!

The shop looks so good, and today was so so busy! We are grateful to everyone who popped in today, despite the chaos of finishing the back room ! This space isn’t 100% as how I designed it in my head 🤣 but it’s coming together as the sweetest bo***ir room filled with divine things!

Loving being back in our cool little shop!

So many fabulous antiques arriving……..as you know we love the quirky, the eclectic, the different, the odd antiquities that have survived the test of time….oh and of course books, we have some fascinating books we found in NSW and Tasmania. ( The one called ‘Work’ has so much lost carpentry knowledge in it it’s incredible! )

We search high and low for the most interesting curated collections, we’d love to show you!

We are home are back open tomorrow Thursday 10-4pm!

We are still waiting on boxes to arrive from Tasmania, but our NSW boxes have arrived so we will be unpacking them into the shop!

Some other news is we are adding an extra day to our opening hours and will from now on be open on Mondays.

Insured by our travels and mainly the incredible places we stayed, in the next few weeks we will be doing a shop shift around, making some new shelving and a little ‘Boudoir’ section for our bespoke clothing range.

Woolmers Estate .
This property is a living time capsule, built upon convict labour but everything is still as it was. A unesco world heritage site, you can stay here in workers cottages scattered around the estate which is an open air museum.
The main homestead is shut for restoration and conservation work unfortunately but still being here has been so inspiring. There is a fabulous exhibition on called ‘Unshackled’ and I learnt so much more today about the plights of the convicts, who they were, the horrific circumstances they found themselves in and what events in our history ended convict labour in Australia. I have been constantly amazed that in WA it’s just not something we really learn about more openly. Perhaps only recently the brutality by the English is being talked about and the shame is lifting, This is our heritage and it’s important to know it.

It’s been a wonderful few days relic hunting through Ross, Oatlands and the incredible Evandale Markets. Today we are at Woolmers Estate staying in the Gardeners Cottage. The fire is warm and cups are full.
