Glassons is bringing its first-ever Paddington pop-up to Sydney.

Created to launch the new OASIS Resort 2026 collection, this one-day activation gives shoppers exclusive early access to preview, style and shop the collection before its official release.

Rather than a traditional launch, Glassons is creating a curated in-person experience through ticketed sessions, turning a product release into a destination event.

📍 31 Norfolk Street, Paddington
📅 30 May 2026 | 9am–3pm

A great example of how brands are using pop-ups to build anticipation, create exclusivity and connect with customers before a collection officially launches.

POP-UP WATCH. Across Australia. The best pop-ups right now aren’t just selling products. They’re creating culture around them.

Milkbar – Fitzroy North
A menswear release built almost entirely offline. Newspapers scattered across Melbourne, coffee shop pick-ups and a two-day physical launch rejecting algorithm-driven marketing altogether. A reminder that scarcity and community still work.

Glassons – Paddington
A ticketed Resort 2026 launch turning retail into an event. Early access, limited walk-ins and a carefully controlled experience designed to build anticipation before the collection officially drops.

Brooki Bakehouse – Sydney & Adelaide
Queues from Melbourne are now spilling into new cities. Food trucks, limited cookie drops and festival-driven activations proving hospitality pop-ups are becoming some of the strongest crowd-pullers in the country.

UNIQLO – Federation Square
A large-scale HEATTECH experience taking over Melbourne’s CBD. Interactive zones, product demonstrations and free giveaways transforming a winter basics campaign into an immersive public activation.

Abrand Jeans – Armadale
This isn’t just a warehouse sale anymore. It’s a full weekend activation. DJs, tattoos, giveaways, tooth gems, cookies, drinks and collaborative brands layered into one space to turn discount shopping into a social event people actually want to spend hours at.

Different categories. Same shift happening everywhere.

Retail is becoming experience-led again. And the brands winning are the ones giving people a reason to show up in person.

They’re creating experiences people want to step into.

POP-UP WATCH. Across Australia.
The best retail moments right now aren’t permanent.
They appear, create demand, bring people together, then disappear again.

St Agni – Paddington
A four-day archive sale from the Byron Bay label known for clean tailoring and quiet luxury. Past collections, discounted pieces and the kind of brand pull that turns a simple sale into a destination.

NOT SO MUMSY – Paddington
More than a pop-up shop. A Mother’s Day weekend built around connection, conversation and community. Limited collections, exclusive pieces and an intimate morning tea designed to bring people together in person.

GAPI – Darlinghurst
Handmade, vintage and reworked fashion filling Oxford Street for nearly two weeks. One-off pieces, archived finds and the kind of discovery-driven retail people want to spend time in.

Second Life Archive – Darlinghurst
Vintage bridal and archival eveningwear curated for fashion week, events and special occasions. Wedding dresses, tailoring, jewellery and rare pieces brought together under one roof for one weekend only.

Lindelli – Brisbane
A two-day residency at The Calile Hotel from Australian jeweller Lindelli. Private appointments, fine jewellery and a slower, more personal retail experience built around craftsmanship and considered design.

Different brands. Different audiences. Same idea.

Create a moment people want to step into.
Because the strongest brands right now aren’t just selling products.
They’re creating experiences people remember.

Popped in over the weekend to check out both pop-ups on Oxford Street.

So good to see the energy across Darlinghurst with activations at 205 Oxford St and 207 Oxford St.

At 207, NSSTYLE Ă— Mean It wrapping up their pop-up with handmade pieces, limited runs and a strong community vibe throughout the week.

At 205, GAPI now open, bringing a mix of handmade pieces and archived vintage into the space.

Two different concepts, side by side, both showing how pop-ups bring people in and create real connection.

Love seeing this kind of activation on the street.
