Great day out in tough conditions for Cod on boxing day. A very low barometer meant fishing was tough but managed a few little ones on the surface to make up for the very long drive. We found that the baby bidgy lizard presentation worked a treat. Got to learn how to take better pictures though 🤣. Nothing better than fishing in gorge country though.

It has been a while since I posted anything fishing related. This weekend just gone I went to a dam in SE Qld to try and get some big bass and a solid Saratoga and I achieved both. I have been trying for 8 years now to get a bass over the magical 50 cm and after three 49cm bass I finally got there and managed a 53cm model. It was everything I hoped for a great fight was had on 10lb leader. I ended up with 12 bass with all but 2 over 40 cm and 2 Saratoga. Now I just need to learn how to take better photos 😜

Went down to enemy territory this weekend to chase some Murray Cod. It was great to get away with mates and see what gorge country had to offer. The fishing was great with 16 fish caught over the 2 days. I can not wait to come back to get into them again. Enjoy some quality river Murray Cod that we caught.

Went for a boys trip chasing Murray Cod. The trip didn't go to plan that's for sure but we still had some fun.My bad luck included a snapped rod getting stung by a plant and wading through the creek up to my chest 😂 oh and 0 fish as we had the worst possible conditions for Cod unseasonably cold weather windy and the barometer was low.

It's been a hell of a bass season this season. I have put a lot of focus in on them and it has paid off with my Pb and lots of other great bycatch. Seeing mates get awesome fish has been a highlight too.
