Today’s the last day! 🌿

Huge thank you to everyone who came through, said hello, and took a piece home with them yesterday — it means the world, genuinely.

We’re open until 4pm today, so there’s still time to stop by Studio 7, 17 Kilsby St, The Gap, and see the collection in person — including this little display, tiger moth brooches, hand-carved vases and everything in between.

This time next week you can come and see me and my creations in person! 🏺

Of course, the second I finally worked out how to post on Instagram without access to my own account, I got sick. The good news is I’m bouncing back just in time for the biggest event I’ll do all year.

You’ll find me sharing a studio with the magnificent mariannewilsondesigns — we’re both big fans of each other’s work, and I’m genuinely honoured to be sharing a space with her.

📍 Studio 7 — 17 Kilsby St, The Gap
🗓️ Saturday 30 August, 10am–4pm
Free entry. Original hand and heart made pieces, affordable prices, artists in person — come say hi.

This is the 5th annual Open Studios event, and it’s always brilliant. 20 artists, 9 studios, 2 days — a proper wander through The Gap’s creative side, with the chance to watch pieces being made right in front of you.

✨ This year we have a Friday evening Opening Event and you can visit one studio and meet 5 artists before the main event even starts — more time to browse everywhere else on Sat & Sun.

🕕 Community Opening Event — Friday 28 August, 6pm–9pm
📍 U Create Art Studio, 1125 Waterworks Rd, The Gap

It’s been a while!


I’m doing my very best to keep things afloat with extremely low capacity, juggling a lot and needing a lot of rest but I’m determined to crawl my way back onto socials

Please let me know if you’re seeing this on Instagram and if you have any secret magic sauce recommendations on how to regain access to my account that would be greatly appreciated.

There’s a lot to fill you in on and hopefully I’m able to do that over the next few weeks

Unfortunately I’ve come down with something. My husband is burnt out, I’m sick but finally getting over it and as a result I’ve had to pull out of my regular spot at Yeerongpilly Village Green Markets this Sunday

Sometimes you just have to make a call to put yourself first. We both need to recoup and I can’t do that market without assistance.

However, in great news the beautiful had offered to have some of my stock at their market this Sunday without me being present but if things keep improving I’ll be there with my stock

It’s closer to home, less hours and less to set up for me so much more manageable

So, if you’re looking for my products, this Sunday from 8-11 is the place to go.
They have beverages, snacks, a spectacular view in the shade and Christmas craft activities happening

Hope you had as great a weekend as I didinc held up the space at centre beautifully, the buzz was brilliant, the crowds were lovely and it was my last day with Mum here from interstate

Love events this close to home where the community spirits are fortified and it feels like family
Can’t help but feeling grateful for holding space here. Lots of beautiful handmade gifts in people’s hands
