Vivianite aka co**se crystal
A rare & delicate crystal that forms on decomposing bodies & can sometimes be found inside shell fossils.
It starts out pale & grows dark greens & blues when exposed to light & oxygen, as a result of the iron within it oxidising.
Another example of how wild & wonderful mother nature is.

Two HUUUUUGE spinosaurus tooth fossils πŸ¦–πŸ¦•
The bigger of the two, with intact root section, coming in at just under 5 inches (4.8 inches).
The smaller, with no root section, almost certainly will have been larger if it were. Measuring 3.8 inches.
These are rare & had to come by, especially of this size & excellent condition.

About 2.5mins after I sat down to finish this piece of boulder opal with my dremel, it flew out of my fingers up in the air & never to be seen again 😫😭 I’ve spent a ridiculous amount of time searching the driveway, grass, garden & even roof, in both daylight & darkness with the UV. It’s gone 😫😫😫😫
