Tallulah Market Bag

I would like to say that I spent the last year perfecting this pattern, but the truth is: I had this pattern all done and ready to post a year ago.

“What held me back?” I ask myself. Life? Uni, work, social commitments, exams, lack of time? That’s what I want to believe.
But maybe, maybe a little part of me was scared to put it out into the world. My first pattern. Was it good enough? Would my bag actually be of use? What would I do next?

If you’re reading this, all I have to say is thank you. And I also have to thank my wonderful pattern testers, who gave me such wonderful feedback for my bag. Thank you for helping a little crocheter release her first pattern, even if it may have taken a year.

To all the eager crochet pattern testers out there, I’m looking for 5 testers to test my new Tallulah Market Bag Pattern. Please read below for some more information.

Start date: 12/2/22
Date I will contact successful applicants via DM: 26/2/22

What I’m looking for:
- Enthusiastic beginner, Intermediate and Advanced crocheters with a public crochet account
- Must be following me
- Able to provide thorough feedback
- Have an email address that I can send the pattern through
- Can provide quality photos of their finished product
- Must complete product by 13/4/22

Materials: (Tester must provide own materials)
- 10mm (N-15) Crochet Hook
- 1 Ball Spaghetti Yarn (750g)
- Scissors

How to Apply:
- Follow my Facebook account
- Comment below on this post ‘Tallulah Market Bag’

Successful applicants will be contacted via Instagram DMs. You will receive this pattern for free 🙂

What you will do:
- If successful, respond within two working days
- Complete Tallulah Market Bag within 2 weeks after the application deadline date

I got the pics!!!!!! Finallllly 😎

These were taken weeks ago. Since the camera charger broke, a whole lot has happened. I started drafting a pattern for the big purple market bag seen in the first pic, and I’m planning on writing up one for the smaller version too!
I’ve researched different sites I can put my pattern on, and even contemplated making a website….

I have some news…

The good bit first- on the weekend I went out and did a big ‘photoshoot’ of my crochet bags. My two lovely sisters were kind enough to model for me 🥰
I got some great shots on my camera and couldn’t wait to share them with you.

^this pic is me with my black crochet bag taken off my sisters phone.

Not so good news- the camera’s battery ran out and I couldn’t transfer the images over. There was also something wrong with the charging cord and I couldn’t charge it :(
Also (side note).. my cover up didn’t turn out exactly the way I wanted because I ran out of blue yarn…

So… I’m going to figure out how to get the photos off of the camera 🤞🏻

It’s Spring! 🌸🌻

My beautiful sister is modelling this new bag I designed and made. She loves it so much that she wanted me to make a larger one for her as well so keep your eyes peeled!

😊 I’m so happy of the way it turned out with summer and spring vibes. And it’s also really well shaped and sturdy which I love!

I’m currently not taking any orders at the moment, but I’m thinking about sharing the pattern. Let me know below if you’d like me to :)
