Whilst we're in the last few hours of the 2025 Christmas season, I wanted to reflect on what has been a terrific year for this Santa. My season started much earlier than normal thanks to a new creative partnership with Buttons & Bows Photography - Newborn, Maternity, Family - QLD and it's one that I feel will last for many years to come.
After 2 years of work, I published my first book - "The Boy Who Became Santa". I can't be more proud of it and a massive shout out to Julian Chan for his amazing illustrations.
There was a variety of new clients and opportunities as well as some families and organisations who have allowed me to be part of their Christmases since I started this in 2022 and to everyone who hired me this year, old and new, a huge thank you.
Even though I'm a one man business, I couldn't do this without my loving wife and her support (and role of keeping our son busy and none the wiser while I'm off in the red suit). Next season our family will have grown by one, which will make the logistics of doing this much harder but I promise you all, Santa Of Oxley will still be there spreading as much love, joy and Christmas spirit as I have these past years.
Finally, the words I leave you with every year:
"Every step you take away from last Christmas brings you one step closer to the next".
