Well it's a long way in between posts as usual, but life goes on.

This next kit is not a nesting kit, but it is incredible in its own right.

Here is a beautiful Premier Drum Kit with Mahogany Shells.

The sizes are 10" Tom, 12" Tom, 14" Floor Tom, 14" Snare and a 22" Bass Drum.

This kit sounds epic. The sizes allow for a huge tuning range from Jazz/Fusion to Funk and Rock. With one of the best sounding bass drums I've ever heard even wide open. The Mahogany shells are incredibly resonant and sound amazing.

The kit has been completely refurbished with brand new oil based stain and hand rubbed oil based gloss lacquer. The oil based products really let the grain on the shells pop and is super hard wearing.

There is minimal pitting on the hardware.

The only con with with this drums is the heads on the toms and snare. They still make great noise but could do with a refresh.

Its been a while coming but another one is finally done. This is a beautiful early 2000's Tama Imperial star kit that has been completely refurbished, made into a nesting kit and finished in beautiful Satin Black. Sizes are 18x14 BD, 14x12 FT, 10x8 TT and a 13x8 Steel snare.

This kit looks and sounds incredible. I have a few pre-inquiries about upcoming kits so this one will sell quick.

We've been busy over the holidays and whipped up this beauty.

This kit started life as the renowned gig staple, the Yamaha Stage Custom, in a beautiful cherry red stain.

It has now been made even more capable by being completely stripped back, cleaned, chopped up and turned into a nesting kit, then finished in a hand rubbed Tung oil finish.

This setup represents the biggest nesting kit Timbre Drum Co. offers, coming in with a 20" bass drum, 14" floor tom and a 10" rack tom. Big sound from a small kit that is still light enough to carry all packed together. Weighing in at only 14kgs, put it in a carry bag or a hard case and take your whole kit to the gig in one trip.

No more "only two more trips from the van and I'll be done!" Carry your whole kit in one go with a custom made Nesting Drum Kit made right here in Australia.

Timbre Drum Co. has been building custom nesting drum kits in Canada for the last 3 years and have just arrived in Australia to build some more!

If you are unfamiliar with nesting kits, I'll break it down. The Floor tom separates in half to accommodate the Tom nesting snug inside of it. The Bass drum does the same to allow both other drums to fit inside of it. All of the nesting drums are fitted with a locating ring and heavy duty, spring loaded latches to ensure the drums stay shut and don't rattle at all, all the while keeping the kit looking and sounding great. Mount the ride cymbal to the rack tom arm as you can see in the photos and the only stands you need are for the snare and hi hats. All of this, including the mounting hardware packs into one bass drum case and your away.

I can turn your existing kit into a nesting kit or you can order one from me with an almost endless amount of possibilities for customisation. There's always an option to suit every budget.
