Never Ever Pay Retail

Never Ever Pay Retail Australia's guide to op shopping http://nevereverpayretail.com.au All my life I’ve loved the thrill of the chase.

There’s something about rifling through items in search of treasure that gets my heart rate up. You never know what little surprises are just around the corner.

99% of my wardrobe is pre-loved and when people quiz me on my get up I often catch myself saying ‘never ever pay retail’. Hopefully this page helps you on your thrifty journey of locating shops in your vicinity and sniffing out a steal xx

The panic is real 😂 Anyone else turn into a Phoebe when they hit a jumble sale or a preloved market?

Alwayssss fun playing dress up’s Brisbane Pre-Loved Fashion Markets & Rent A Rack Boutique especially at an Up Late featuring Green Wardrobe 🤌🏼

I was a sensible Susan and got two DISSH shirts for $100 but Hayley Story got the haul of the day including that sequin aje top which was only $50 🙌🏻

We also peer pressured What Tegan Made into getting the Seed Heritage lemon coat for $50 for her next trip to Tasmania!

Not pictured: the incredible charcuterie spread of so many delicious cheeses that I annihilated after thrifting hard and the funnnn DJ playing all the bangers…borderline felt like Lise & Sarah’s DISCO CLUB!

Huge shout out goes to Lana Sciasci | Love Me Again Market + Isobel Dear for throwing such a fun thrifting party. Whatever you do don’t miss the next Up Late…it’s a good night out and you’ll be home by 8:30pm 🙌🏻😂

The team at Bach Hair are basically superheroes when it comes to saving someone’s hairdo ✂️

It’s been a hot minute (four months) since I’ve been into my favourite Sustainable Salons so was definitely well overdue.

Aside from using their super powers to get my hair back on track, the team at Bach Hair also do what they can to save the planet…they’ve been recycling 95% of everything they use in their Paddington salon since 2016, right down to the leftover toner, plastic bottles, hairdressing tools, foils and colour tubes!

They even collect all the hair that gets cut and use it to make hair booms which soak up oil spills in the ocean! Per gram, hair removes more oil from sea water than any other resource. One hair boom can soak up to 4 litres of crude oil…that’s a glow up I can get behind!

Can 10/10 recommend Bach Hair if you’re in Brisbane or look up a Sustainable Salons near you.

A huge shout out goes to Ashley 💇🏻 and Tahlei Hammond for maintaining the mane today…love your work 🫶🏻

Fit: $25 trench from Shed the Light opshop Kenilworth, sweater - $3.50 Savers Australia Old Noarlunga, tee - $5 The Happy Rack, Abrand Jeans - $40 Depop, aje handbag - $200 Facebook marketplace

is finally here and I’m not mad about it!

She’s open 6 days a week at 498 Waterworks Road in Ashgrove and she’s basically a thrifter’s paradise with 35 racks of preloved to pick from!

Spotted a few thrifters cleaning up there today including and .cotton so you better be quick 😂

There’s a few parks out the front on Waterworks otherwise I highly recommend parking on Coopers Camp Road or Kinkade Ave and going for a stroll.

Happy thrifting ✌🏻

Took this secondhand look for a sunset stroll through my uncle’s vineyard last night and it was glorious 🍇

Scored the knit and crochet pants for $30 newest store in Indooroopilly, the men’s shirt for $5 from Rosalie and the bag for $200 on marketplace ♻️

Thrifters assemble… RSPCA Op Shops QLD has just opened a massive store in Indooroopilly!

It’s basically a thrifters paradise with a wall dedicated to shoes and soooo many dresses.

Was really loving all the neutral tones last night at the sneak preview and found so many things on my opshop wishlist.

Harry the Irish hound was also a clear highlight but unfortunately wasn’t for sale 🥹

The new store is opposite Centre and right next door to a Salvos Stores so it’s a 2-4-1.

And right now you could win a $10k holiday so don’t miss their grand opening Saturday 28 March 🎉
