Maggie popped into the reel—but she was really just waiting for me to finish so we could go outside and play! 😂

Winsome by Nancy Halvorsen is back in the studio! 🌸

This one is a little special for me. I bought the original Winsome collection back in 2007, and I still have a quilt and wall hanging I made from it.

Nearly 20 years later, these beautiful florals, checks, plaids, paisleys and dots are back. The colours are a little brighter this time around, but it still has that lovely Winsome feel I remember.

Winsome is available now at Megelles, including our Special Bundles. 💕

Well… you don’t say no to an offer like that! 😂

Jenny spotted these fabrics sitting on my sewing table and asked what I was planning to make with them. I told her I wanted to make a Half Square Triangle quilt.

Her answer? “I’ll do it for you.”

And she did! Jenny made the beautiful quilt top and I quilted and finished it.

It turned out rather large too — approximately 2.1m x 2.5m — and I absolutely love how all those blues have come together. 💙

Thank you Jenny… I might just leave some more fabric sitting on the sewing table next time you visit. 😂

Yay it’s Friday! 🌸
A little sewing progress this week — I managed to quilt my cuddle fabric quilt! It’s beautifully soft and cuddly, and I was really surprised by just how easy it was to sew and quilt.
We’ve also had more Silent Night arrive, including a lovely restock of the main print, plus plenty of new Special Bundles have been added online.
And next week… LOTS of new fabric is arriving. So apparently I’m not going to be busy — I’m going to be very productive! 😂
