⚽️ A BIG SHOUT OUT TO OUR REFEREES 👏

A huge thank you to Nathan and the referee team at Football Tasmania, who are currently madly shuffling referees around following our revised Hobart Cup roster.

And why did we need a revised roster?

Well… Plovergate, of course. 😂🐦⚽️

Our rather determined feathered residents at Wentworth Park forced some late changes, which then created another enormous job behind the scenes getting referees moved to the right games, grounds and times.

Football Tasmania provides our centre referees for U13 and above, and with 742 games across the Hobart Cup, it is a huge undertaking.

We might just about have enough referees to cover the centre of every U13+ game this year which is also a very good reminder that we need more referees!

So if you love football and have ever thought about taking up refereeing, please give it some thought. We certainly need you.
