Creativity has always been fluid.

Never really saw the point in staying inside one lane...always more exciting to be swerving 😋 One idea has a habit of nudging the next. An abstract becomes a Pop piece. A Book Club painting sparks something unexpected. Before long, there's another little pivot.

They're all part of the same conversation... just different versions of Franko. Maybe this is Franko 5.0. One that glitches a little less. 😊

Curiosity has always been a better guide than comfort.

Hope all you wonderful spunky people have been behaving yourselves...

Another big custom piece has packed its bags and headed off to its forever wall. Love seeing these find their people.

UMBERS...BLACKS...WHITES...rusty oxide vibes...loads of texture...and just enough chaos to keep things interesting.

Finished off with a black oak float frame...all natural...no roids...made right here in the studio...from the first layer of "oh yeah"...right through to what walks out the door.

Its a long story how these pieces came about....but it was a mistake that became a series. To quote something I once heard from a wiser man than me... "To make a fck up into a feature".

Book page base.....repurposed as always....and all jazzed up in a custom black oak float frame…made by Franksy in the studio, as always.

And on its way to a forever home. Artists often say that....Im not sure it always is, but I hope so. 😏

There’s something about blue when it takes over like this…This piece built itself around contrast…soft florals pushing against raw texture and grit…side by side without fighting for attention.

It’s a big one…so the challenge was keeping it balanced without losing that punch up close.

This one is going to own the wall it lands on...and "yes" it was a commission from the clients brief.😎

Well…this one was a serious bit of fun.

A massive abstract commission that pushed the studio space a little and let the textures, blues and earthy tones really run wild across the canvas.

Big works like this are always an adventure…lots of layers, movement and stepping back about a hundred times to make sure the energy is doing the right thing.

Finished in a custom black oak float frame, made right here in the studio…so every detail stays in-house from the first texture layer to what lands on the wall.

Safe to say…this one will make a pretty serious statement in its new home. 🙌
