Shellz Shenaniganz Crafting keeps me sane ... and teaching craft keeps me connected to like minded people or that we feel like making.

Crochet, cards, patchwork and more as well as other things we think you might like.. We are not a registered business, just a few friends making things to help rescues and other not-for-profits/charities do what they do best. We keep a little to allow us to keep on creating and donate the rest to an Australian rescue or charity of your choice, drought angels or rural aid or to help those devastated by Mother Nature, or to cancer related organisations, including ADSS (Asbestosis Disease Support Service). If you see anything you like, message us and we can take it from there. Items are not able to be reproduced exactly as they are in the main handcrafted, in limited numbers or one off.

Another order underway ... client asked for cotton wool blend. I did a headband for her last year and she's asked for another in a different colour. This is a blend of 54% baby alpaca, 35% organic cotton and 10% fine merino wool - weighs next to nothing and lovely and soft that is until you come across bits of what looks like hay or some sort of feed ...
This one is a very dark PURPLE

My interest in weaving has been revived!!
Yesterday I spent a very quick 3 hours at Scattered Arts doing Sharee's introduction to weaving workshop. This was supposed to be bookmark size but we got sidetracked and warped up the full width - now big enough to be mug mats or coasters once i vecome more adept and less bumbly with these arthritic joints.
She cuts her own wee frame looms and tools which we get to keep.
Plus I'll be doing her weave along sessions with the looms I bought some time ago.
Once I get back onto my larger loom ... tea towels with natural fibres will be on the agenda
So many ideas ... so little time 😞😓😩

Back working on crochet classes ... corner 2 corner or c2c to kick off the samples i need. First time i did square or rectangle cushions with multicoloured yarn. 2nd time was at conference last year and we did squares to combine as patchwork. This time ... Beanies and c2c gives us diagonal stripes. Almost finished this one but have more to finish off still.
