🏁 Happy Father’s Day to all the incredible racing dads out there!

Today we’re celebrating the dads behind the racers — and this photo of young Coah Darby and his dad Des pretty much says it all. ❤️

One of the smallest racers on the QLD Junior Cup grid, Noah certainly isn’t short on determination! 🔥 Whether he’s hitting the dirt or the tarmac, this little racer loves being on two wheels.

He’s been training, working hard and putting in the laps, and those efforts are starting to show with some seriously impressive results coming through and a growing confidence every time he gets on the bike. 👊🏍️

And right there alongside him is Dad.

The encouragement. The advice. The early mornings. The long race weekends. Picking them up when things don’t go to plan and being the first one there to celebrate when they do.

For our junior racers especially, there are some pretty incredible dads behind the scenes helping make their dreams possible. 🙌

So today, here’s to Des and all the dads, stepdads, grandads, father figures, coaches and mentors who load the bikes, drive the kilometres, stand beside the grid and help the next generation chase what they love.

😂❤️ Awww… how good are Dads right?!

Young QLD Junior Cup Racer Thomas Zuccolotto having a bit of fun with Dad....and while we’re pretty sure there was some mucking around happening here 😂, it actually captures racing dads perfectly.

Because Dad is always there. 🏁
For the tears.
The frustration.
The nerves.
The wins.
The belly laughs.
And all the brilliant moments in between. ❤

That’s what makes these racing memories so good.

Behind so many of our young racers is a Dad who’s part mechanic, part coach, part taxi driver, part bank account 😬😂 and 100% their biggest supporter.

Thomas, keep giving Dad a hard time… it’s basically your job. 🤣👊

QLD Junior Cup racer Ethan Pelgrave pictured here with his dad, coach and one of his biggest supporters... Kev. 🏁❤️

Ethan’s officially taller than Dad these days… and judging by the way he’s going in the QLD Junior Cup, he might just be getting faster than him too. 😂

There’s something pretty special about a father and son sharing a love of racing. Dad one minute, coach the next — offering advice, keeping the nerves in check, celebrating the good days and helping pick things back up after the tough ones.

Years from now, it won’t just be the results they remember. It’ll be all those race weekends, road trips, laughs and moments they got to experience together. ❤️🏁

For George Holmkvist and his dad from Townsville, the racing adventures have already created some pretty special memories.

George started out racing flat track before taking the leap into road racing in the Qld Junior Cup Championship — and what a leap it’s been, kicking major goals along the way already. 🔥

But behind every young racer chasing the next chequered flag is usually someone helping make it all happen.

The road trips. The early mornings. Loading the bike. Unloading the bike. The nerves. The celebrations. The advice.

These are the memories they’ll both be talking about for years to come.

Saturday was all about getting women riders hands-on, asking questions, learning the right way, and getting confident working on their own bikes. 🔧💪

Because motorcycle maintenance shouldn’t feel intimidating. It should feel empowering.

We’re proud to team up with GIRLS ON TRACK to help make that happen, with our qualified mechanic Matt leading the way and sharing the knowledge, tips and practical skills riders need to look after their own motorcycles.
